  • 1 tbsp Beaver prepared horseradish sauce 15 ml / 15 g
  • 0.5 tsp McCormick smoked paprika 1.2 g
  • 0.5 tsp granulated garlic 1.5 g
  • 0.5 tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt 1.5 g
  • 1 tsp McCormick coarse black pepper 2.4 g
  • 0.25 tsp ground cumin 0.5 g
  • 0.25 tsp dried oregano 0.3 g

Equipment

  • Mini wire whisk Blends mayonnaise and spices evenly
  • Measuring spoons Measures small spice amounts accurately
  • Silicone spatula Scrapes bowl sides completely clean
  • Airtight glass jar Stores chilled sauce safely inside

Method

Mixing & Chilling
  1. Spoon the mayonnaise, ketchup, and prepared horseradish into a small mixing bowl. Stir gently until the colors begin to merge into a pale pink cream.
  2. Sprinkle the smoked paprika, granulated garlic, kosher salt, black pepper, ground cumin, and dried oregano over the cream.
  3. Beat the mixture with a mini wire whisk for one full minute until uniform and silky.
  4. Cover the bowl with a tight lid and place it in the refrigerator for thirty minutes to let spices bloom into a thick spreadable dip.

Notes

Always chill the sauce in the refrigerator for thirty minutes before serving. Cold resting time softens dried herbs and allows garlic and paprika flavors to bloom evenly throughout the mayonnaise base.
